Reply with your name, what you prefer to be called, and then recommend a local, low price food joint that is a hidden gem.

I’m Jeff Salbato (your teacher), but I prefer Jeff. You only need to introduce yourself in one of these sub-topics, but, because I’m the supposed leader here, I’ll post in all of them…

Thai Cuisine is delicious. Aside from their spring rolls, their Kao Sol is my favorite comfort meal after a long day of studying. It feeds my soul each time. I would highly recommend it, that is, if you have not tried it before.

I should have left my discussion on here! Oh well, I will leave a comment.. For cultural foods, I recommend Afghan Kebab House, Sahara, Kebab & Curry, Thai Boran, or Fan Tang. All are so delicious and family friendly. Now more on a simplistic level would be Tula’s, The Shop, and ALL the taco trucks on Central from 98th street to Unser. I am such a foodie, I am to the go-to person to suggest a place to eat!

Hi Vanessa! I have been wanting to try Sahara for a while now just haven’t gotten around to it. I can agree with the taco trucks, my fav is El Champions for their Carne Asada Fries.

I´m Cynthia Calloway, But I prefer CC. A local, low price point food place I recommend is China Garden. They have a super diverse menu, they are super affordable with large portions, and I love going there with my Family!

Welcome in, CC. As I haven’t been there, there is a lovely, authentic joint named Great China on San Mateo, Albuquerque, that has a splendid mu shu dish. I would highly recommend it; it is quite a large portion, but a bit on the higher end in price due to its size.

Hi I’m Tatyana, you can call me Taty if you want. (:

                      I recommend
                      * Tasty Pot it’s an Taiwanese restaurant that serves different kind of hot pot meals with veggies, meats/seafood and broth. You can make it spicy too. With how large a single one is I think the price is worth it.

                      * Vernon’s Speakeasy, this place is one of my favs, it’s a steakhouse that has a vintage vibe with really good drinks they do have someone playing music live (jazzy, classic). It is expensive and reservation only. I think it is a great date night, birthday, celebration etc place.

                      * Phat Stax is awesome too, it’s a burger joint that is hip hop themed. The burgers are so good! and they have some different unusual combinations not just regular patty with cheese. Give it a try!

                      * The Grove is a great brunch choice for simplicity and lattes. Their dishes have a light feel to them as in you leave feeling just right, not overly full.
