Hello Brooke, If I am remembering correctly I used to deliver gasoline to the chevron next to the hamburger stand up there and order to go before i started my drop, its been along time but was good when i had it.

Hey, my name is Daniel Orona, I don’t have a preference on nickname but for the majority people call me Danny. A place that I highly recommend is New Mexico Beef Jerkey Company in Albuquerque. Also if you are ever in Santa Fe I highly recommend Bang Bite Filling Station they are better than In N Out and Lota Burger in my opinion.

Hi all, my name is Natalia Morain, I prefer just Natalia. A few places I recommend are Tap N’ Taco, IGrill, and Market street. I know market street is a grocery store or what not but they have BBQ and other foods that are so good and decent price!

Yep, I will second the vote for iGrill. It’s solid.

At Tap-N-Taco, part of its charm is that the menu is really simple. For me it’s a couple of fish tacos and a chicken quesadilla. (I don’t eat meat too often, so someone else could recommend more stuff.)

Hello! Those are all places I have heard of and passed by but have yet to try. I’ve been to the Market Street once and think it is the coolest grocery store I’ve seen but I haven’t tried their prepared food. I will definitely have to try it next time I am in the area.

Hello everyone, my name is Saada, I don’t really go by anything else other than mom. my Favorite hidden gem would have to be Sushi Xuan they are so Yummy and have a clam quiet environment. The service is what stands out to me the most they are very kind and take the time to know all the customers.

The other great affordable Japanese place is Nagomi. And, I know this is hard to believe, but when Sushi King has their all-you-can-eat days, it is pretty great and a deal, too.

Hello my name is Kyle I also answer to Karl becasue growing up down in south eastern new mexico it was often interchangable. A couple of places I really like are Rita’s in Belen has an awesome sopa burger and Benny’s in bosque Farms has Burgers and Tacos I like, also Southwest grill in Bosque Farms has real good chicharrĂ³nes they make limited amounts of lunch items like fry bread for indian tacos so its best to go early.

La Guelaguetza looks genius. I wish it was near me. My wife is a Mexican food snob… if a joint doesn’t make their own chips and taco shells that place is despised. When I show her this spot, she’ll be stoked.

Vic’s gives you that traditional cafe feel you might have went to as a kid. It also has an outdoor patio and they allow dogs! Daves Grill is more modern but has such great food from breakfast to dinner.

I’ve got to recommend “New Mexico Beef Jerky”, on 4th street in Albuquerque. Don’t be fooled by the name; as this restaurant has a menu that accommodates appetites for breakfast, lunch, tacos, sandwiches, and burgers. The green Chile is always tasty and hot!

It’s low priced and has tons of options from breakfast to burgers. The cinnamon rolls are a must try! I’m really looking forward to this class and I hope everyone has a great semester!
